Crafted in Queens: KMFG's Ridgewood Factory

During our first exhibition at Pitti Uomo as a part of the Liberty Fairs "Born in the USA" section, we made friends with several American Made brands from across the country. One of our closest friends to come out of the show is Andrew Livingston, creative director of Knickerbocker MFG Co. Located in Ridgewood, NY KMFG, is a line of men's clothing designed and produced in an 8,000 sq. ft. old hat-making factory.

Prior to launching the brand, KMFG was a factory producing private label garments founded by Andrew Livingston (owner of KMFG), Dan McRorie (owner of Rickard Guy), and Kyle Mosholder (owner of d'emploi brooklyn) Today, the factory also serves as a collaborative environment and home to several designers and makers. It's the place we feel fortunate to call home where we get to work along so many talented designers and friends.

Shortly after moving in, we worked with our friend Jim Hobart of Macbeth Studio to capture some images of the factory and our new home for our website. Here's a few of the images we took that day.
